This information is necessary to pervent abuse or malicious hacking of the site.
The information is reviewed regularly to look for various malicious activities and to take the apporpriate actions. (Block offending IP addresses, Report continual abuse to the proper authorities, etc). Other then this one specific use the data is disregarded and discarded in a timely manner.
